Lyneia + Susan

Lyneia and Susan make up the SoSig Events team. Being highly sought out as destination wedding and event planners, they produce and design weddings all across the states, as well as social and corporate events. Having over 20 years of experience planning a myriad of events for nonprofit organizations, Susan and Lyneia joined forces in 2015 to form the Permian Basin’s premier luxury wedding and event planning and design company.  Both being native Midlanders, they pride themselves on creating beautiful, luxurious events in the middle of the world’s most premier oil patch and beyond!  In 2021, SoSig Events expanded their presence in Texas by opening an office in Houston, Texas.

Susan and Lyneia have 7 sons collectively (Susan has 4 boys and Lyneia has 3), and it’s through their children that they became friends many years ago while managing their small army.  Lyneia has been happily married for 30 years to the love of her life, Mike. When she isn’t planning the next soiree, she can be found at the gym, traveling with friends and family, reading a good book or possibly enjoying her guilty pleasure of chocolate and red wine. Susan has been happily married to Tom for over 33 years and in her free time you can find her at the gym, on the golf course, or lying beside the pool with a WWII book in hand. When no one is watching, she loves devouring Cheez Its with red wine while watching The Bachelor.
